Polyester fabric blanket

Polyester: It is an important variety of synthetic fibers and the trade name of polyester fiber in my country. It is a fiber-forming polymer prepared from purified terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) and ethylene glycol (EG) through esterification or transesterification and polycondensation reactions: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a fiber made by spinning and post-processing.

Performance of polyester: Polyester blankets have high strength and elastic recovery ability. Therefore, it is durable, wrinkle-resistant and non-ironing.

Polyester blankets are poorly hygroscopic and have a sense of stuffiness when worn. At the same time, they are prone to static electricity and dirt, which affects appearance and comfort. However, it is very easy to dry after washing, and the wet strength hardly drops, does not deform, and has good wash and wear properties.

Polyester is the best heat-resistant fabric among synthetic fabrics. It is thermoplastic and can be made into pleated skirts with long-lasting pleats. At the same time, polyester blankets have poor melting resistance and are prone to forming holes in the presence of soot and sparks. Therefore, try to avoid contact with cigarette butts and sparks when wearing.

The light fastness of polyester blanket is better, except that it is worse than acrylic, its light fastness is better than natural fiber fabric. Especially the light fastness behind the glass is very good, almost as good as acrylic.
