Woven fabrics are weaving machine in the form of shuttle, the yarn through the warp, weft intersection and composition, its organization is generally plain, twill and satin three categories and their changes in the organization, modern also due to the application of shuttleless loom, such fabrics are woven without shuttle form, but the basic principle is still warp and weft interweaving, so the fabric is still classified as woven. Woven fabric refers to the use of yarn from the longitudinal and transverse two directions cross, the textile industry is called warp and weft interweaving, so that the yarn is connected to form the surface of the cloth. Weaving principle is: the warp yarn is fixed on the disk head, through the way of constant release to let the warp yarn feed into the loom, through the brown frame of the lift to form openings, weft yarn by the shuttle through the belt through these openings, so that the warp and weft yarn interweaving formed cloth is called: woven fabric, and then after dyeing and finishing and post-treatment can become woven fabrics.

Woven jacquard fabric is one of the many varieties of woven fabrics, it has a woven pattern of cotton fabrics or chemical fiber blended fabrics. There are white woven and color woven. White woven fabrics and part of the color woven fabrics are subject to practice bleaching or dyeing. Jacquard fabric according to the characteristics of the species can be used for different purposes. 

General jacquard cloth is mostly used as bed sheets, tablecloths, curtains and other interior decoration; jacquard poplin, jacquard linen, jacquard yarn is mostly used for clothing. The pattern of jacquard fabric is divided into two categories: large jacquard pattern with flowers, dragons and phoenixes, animals, landscapes, people, etc., in the whole width of the fabric with a single flower, 2 flowers, 4 flowers or more of the same pattern, using jacquard machine weaving, the number of warp yarn cycles from a few hundred to more than a thousand. Small pattern patterns are mostly dotted flowers or small geometric patterns, woven with 16 to 24 pages of dobby looms, subject to the limitations of the number of pages of the heald frame used, the pattern woven is simpler.

Jacquard is also divided into two-color jacquard and monochrome jacquard.

The difference between monochrome jacquard and multicolor jacquard is mainly in the dyeing and finishing process.

Single-color jacquard is jacquard dyed fabric - first woven by jacquard loom jacquard blank fabric and then dyeing finishing, the finished fabric is solid color.

Multi-color jacquard is color woven jacquard fabric - first yarn dyed and then woven by jacquard loom, and finally finishing, so the color woven jacquard fabric has more than two colors, fabric colorful, not monotonous, flower pattern three-dimensional sense is stronger, higher grade. Fabric width is not limited, cotton fabrics have a small shrinkage, no pilling, no color loss.

Woven fabrics are mainly used in the following areas.

First, clothing fabrics: mainly used for a variety of clothing, inside and outside clothing pants, skirts, suits, sportswear series and so on.

Second, bedding fabrics: various bed sheets, pillowcases, bedding, quilt tops, pillows, blankets and other series with fabrics.

Third, decorative fabrics: various curtains, fabrics, sofa sets, cushions, cushions, foot mats, various carpets, tapestries, etc.
