What are the advantages of knitted fabrics

Moisture-wicking properties

Some knitted fabrics have good moisture absorption capabilities, especially those made from plant-based materials. Cotton, for example, can absorb 27 times its own weight in moisture. Knitted fabrics are made by winding single or double threads together to form small openings in the finished fabric. These openings can serve as pockets to hold air or very small amounts of water.
