First. Classification according to usage

Knitted fabrics can be divided into two kinds of fabrics for underwear and outerwear according to their uses. Lingerie fabric is characterized by fit and body, elasticity, comfort, ease of movement, good softness, moisture absorption and breathability, good anti-wrinkle performance, but the fabric is easy to disperse, poor size stability, easy to hook, pilling and pilling. Varieties are weft flat needle, mesh fabric, double ribbing, single ribbing, pile, etc. Outerwear fabrics are characterized by firm and wear-resistant, small shrinkage rate, easy to wash, elastic.

Second, according to the production process classification

1, Weft knitting fabric

Weft knitting fabric adopts flat knitting organization, change flat knitting organization, ribbed flat knitting organization, double ribbed flat knitting organization, jacquard organization, terry organization, etc., which is knitted on various weft knitting machines, it can be formed with at least one yarn, but in order to improve the production efficiency, it generally adopts multiple yarns for knitting.

2, Warp knitting fabric

Warp knitted fabric can't be formed with one yarn, it needs to use multiple yarns to form a circle along the longitudinal order of the fabric surface at the same time, in order to be made, because a yarn can only form a coil to form the琏-like material. Warp knitted fabric has the advantages of good longitudinal size stability, fabric stiffness, small dispersion, will not roll the edge, good breathability, etc., but its lateral extension, elasticity and softness is not as good as weft knitted fabrics.

Third, according to the production material classification

1, Polyester color knitted fabric

Polyester color knitted fabric is dyed low stretch polyester yarn as raw material, according to the design requirements of different colors, the use of jacquard organization, woven into 3 to 6 colors or even more colors of the pattern. Common patterns include stripes, grids, flowers, figures, animals, landscapes, geometric patterns and so on. The fabric is bright, beautiful, color matching and harmonious, with close and thick texture, clear weave pattern, strong sense of wool, similar to the style of wool fabric tweed. Mainly used as men's and women's tops, suits, trench coats, undershirts, skirts, cotton jacket fabrics, children's clothing, etc.

2, Polyester knitted labor fabric

Polyester knitted labor fabric, also known as polyester knitted denim, is a low stretch polyester silk as raw material, one of the thicker dyed navy blue, a thinner white silk, using jacquard organization woven, the surface of the fabric in navy blue sandwiched between the uniform small native color dots. This fabric is tight and thick, firm and wear-resistant, brace and elastic. If the raw material contains spandex core yarn, it can be woven into elastic knitted denim, better elasticity. Mainly used as men's and women's tops and pants.
